Hound spring/summer debuts at Dose

Not to get too punny here, but we’ve been hounding Jen Beeman to bring her line, Hound, to Dose pretty much since we started. Fortunately, the stars aligned this month and she’s making a grand entrance with the debut of her spring/summer 2012 collection. We’re stoked, and you will be, too, after taking a look at a few pages from her ridiculously fun look book. It’s no surprise the Chicago-based designer has a BFA in photography; the images are as striking and dynamic as the collection. Have fun and give her a warm Dose welcome this Sunday! Three free ways to say I love you, Mom

We’ll make no bones about it. We want you to shop at Dose, and we’re pretty confident that after buzzing on a Do-Rite Donuts and Jeni’s ice cream sugar high (yep, you’re allowed to eat ice cream at 10am), you’ll be buying up a storm.

But given that it’s Mother’s Day and that you probably want to put your personal touch on that gift for Mom, we’re providing three sweet options to make (or get) on site:

First, get goofy in the photo booth. In addition to bringing a slew of vintage cameras for sale from their Oak Park storefront A&A Studios, c0-owners Andrea and Anthony Vizzari are setting up a vintage-style photo booth. Strike a pose. Photo strips are free!

Then take last weekend’s Derby hat and throw it in the ring for this weekend’s raffle. Only mamas are eligible to win one of the two free goodie baskets packed chock-full of May Doser’s tasty bites and stylish wares. More details to come this week.
