Why we love them: Here at Dose, we’re word nerds, and 826CHI’s mission to bring the joy of the written word to students (no matter their circumstances) is dear to our hearts.

Service: Volunteers work both in and out of schools to inspire kids ages 6 through 18 to write. The nonprofit empowers them, and their teachers, with the tools and structure needed to make the skill of creative and expository writing a lasting passion.
