A Very Happy Dose

Some people say Disneyland is the happiest place on earth. Sorry Mickey, we have to disagree. The energy pulsing through the River East Art Center on Sunday was incredible — from the moment guests lined-up at 10am till we had to turn off our new Artpentry boombox that evening–there was nothing but merriment and love in the air.

MammothBooth captured all the love while we got Dosed on the Dose Bar from Mayana, shared pie with our honey from The Sugar Path and refreshed with Fresh Ginger Ale from Bruce Cost.

While the gentlemen prepped for fall with Inland Clothing, apartment number 9, Versed Apparel and Detroit Denim, the ladies perused the fashions of p.45, AGGA B, Lisa Kingsley and Samantha Sleeper.

While delighting in a warm, buttery croissant from Hendrickx Belgian Bread Crafters and sipping a steaming pour-over from Gaslight Coffee Roasters, Circa Modern‘s welcoming midcentury furnishing provided a spot for a little R&R (and a good Dose of design!) after a morning of shopping and sampling.

October = Halloween and Silver Moon provided Dose with the BEST collection of costumes in the city.

A hearty bowl of cassoulet and fresh bread from Salt of the Earth warmed our hearts and our tummies.

merkled had us hooked on their clever, colorful designs, while Yearbook sold us on their stunning set-up.

We are still finding glitter here and there from our A Muse tattoos, but that’s OK with us…

Thanks for bringing the joy. Until next month!
